Conociendo Rusia llega a Neuquén el 4 de noviembre para presentarse en Mood Live con set completo. La banda nació como un proyecto del músico Mateo Sujatovich —también conocido como “El Ruso”— en Buenos Aires. Desde sus comienzos, la propuesta rescata la canción clásica argentina en plan urbano.
El primer álbum homónimo de Conociendo Rusia fue lanzado en 2018 y contó con la participación de Nicolás Btesh en sintetizadores y coros, Guille Salort en batería y Fran Azorai en teclados. Su obra debut ya mostraba una intención de conectar con las raíces del rock y la canción argentina, pero con caminos vocales más sutiles.
En 2019 la banda lanzó su segundo disco, Cabildo y Juramento, quizá su disco más comentado. Este álbum posicionó a la banda en la escena local y recibió varias nominaciones a los premios Latin Grammy Awards y a los premios Premios Gardel.
El tercer trabajo, La Dirección, se publicó en noviembre de 2021 y fue presenta un registro más íntimo y maduro que sus dos predecesores.
En palabras de Mateo: “La Dirección es el camino de cada uno. Es ir para adelante, chocarse, retomar…”.
En 2022 la banda agotó funciones en el emblemático Movistar Arena de Buenos Aires, frente a más de 10 mil personas. Asimismo, su gira “Solo Tour” en 2023 pasó por varias ciudades de Argentina y otros países de Latinoamerica.
El Premio Gardel al Mejor Álbum de Rock llegó en 2022 por La Dirección. Más recientemente, Conociendo Rusia publicó el álbum Jet Love —cuarto trabajo discográfico— que incluye colaboraciones con artistas como Natalia Lafourcade y Tiago Iorc, y cuenta con galardones internacionales como un Latin Grammy a la Mejor Canción Pop/Rock por “Cinco horas menos”.
Este 4 de noviembre, Conociendo Rusia se presenta en Mood Live a las 21 horas. El valor de la entrada general es de 55 mil pesos y todavía quedan tickets disponibles en el portal web Protickets.
