La exlegisladora de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires Ofelia Fernández estrenó en YouTube Cómo ser feliz, un ensayo documental que combina humor, confesión y crítica para poner en primer plano una pregunta que parece repetirse entre los más jóvenes: ¿qué nos pasa con la felicidad?
A lo largo de 50 minutos, la pieza traza un recorrido entre la risa y el desgarro sobre la vida digital, la ansiedad contemporánea y la búsqueda de compañía en tiempos de hiperconexión. “Algo le está pasando a mi generación. Y tampoco es un gran descubrimiento. Se escucha mucho últimamente: ‘vengo sintiéndome muy rota’, ‘vengo sintiendo mi alrededor muy roto’. Me pregunto por qué”, dice Fernández al comienzo del film.
Desde esa inquietud, Cómo ser feliz explora las consecuencias emocionales del uso constante de redes sociales a partir del año 2010, el mandato de productividad y la sensación de soledad en un contexto donde todos parecen comunicados, pero pocos se sienten realmente acompañados. El disparador surge de un dato concreto que la propia Fernández cita: “Después de 2010, la depresión grave en adolescentes mujeres aumenta 145%, y en varones 161%. ¿Qué mierda pasó en 2010?”. Con un tono íntimo y un ritmo ágil, el documental mezcla testimonio, datos y humor para construir un retrato colectivo de quienes crecieron entre la pantalla y la incertidumbre.
El nuevo trabajo, publicado en el canal de YouTube de Corta, se inscribe en la continuidad del proyecto audiovisual que Fernández presentó en 2024: una serie documental de cuatro capítulos sobre los desafíos de su generación. El primero, ¿Cómo ganar plata?, abordaba las transformaciones del mundo laboral joven y las tensiones entre vocación, esfuerzo y precariedad. En aquel episodio, la exlegisladora recorrió espacios de trabajo y dialogó con jóvenes sobre cómo sostenerse en un contexto de inestabilidad económica y fragmentación social.
“Durante mis años en la Legislatura sentía que se hablaba más del peronismo que de mi generación”, había dicho Fernández entonces. Esa búsqueda de nuevas formas de representación juvenil la llevó a experimentar con otros lenguajes y formatos. Desde que dejó su banca, en 2023, combinó proyectos audiovisuales y presenciales, entre ellos Sector Privado, un show político que comparte con Pedro Rosemblat y con el que recorrió distintas provincias.
Con Cómo ser feliz, Fernández profundiza en una faceta más íntima y emocional de su generación. El documental es una reflexión colectiva sobre la salud mental, el cansancio y la necesidad de redefinir la idea de bienestar en tiempos de sobreexposición.
