Este 13 de noviembre, Flow estrenará Yiya, una serie basada en la historia real de Yiya Murano, la primera asesina en serie argentina condenada a cadena perpetua por envenenar a tres amigas en la década del ’70. Siguiendo la tendencia local por el true crime, la producción se sumerge en uno de los casos más impactantes de la crónica policial nacional para explorar sus aspectos más humanos, psicológicos y mediáticos.
La ficción fue escrita por Marcos Carnevale y dirigida por Mariano Hueter, y cuenta con Julieta Zylberberg y Cristina Banegas como protagonistas -interpretan las versiones joven y mayor de la asesina-. El elenco de la serie que se estrena este jueves por Flow se completa con Pablo Rago —quien encarna al escritor que reconstruye el caso—, Mónica Antonópulos, Diego Cremonesi, Laura Novoa y Carlos Portaluppi, entre otros.
Conocida como “la envenenadora de Monserrat”, Yiya Murano sorprendió a la sociedad argentina al ser señalada como la autora de los asesinatos de tres amigas, a quienes envenenó con galletitas durante una reunión de té. Detrás de su apariencia amable y doméstica, se escondía una mujer con una mente calculadora y un historial de estafas. La serie se centra en la investigación posterior al crimen y en la búsqueda del verdadero móvil que la llevó a cometer los asesinatos.
En declaraciones a Clarín, Julieta Zylberberg reflexionó sobre el desafío de interpretar a un personaje tan complejo: “Siempre es bienvenido el juego. Todos los permisos que tenemos actuando no los tenemos en la vida... Tenemos el permiso de sacar un costado bien animal y bien loco”. Cristina Banegas, por su parte, contó sobre su experiencia interpretando a Murano en sus últimos años: “Yo me divertí mucho haciendo de Yiya en el geriátrico”.
Con una mirada entre el drama y la reconstrucción histórica, Yiya propone revisitar uno de los crímenes más recordados de la historia argentina.
