La antesala de los Martín Fierro de Canales de Streaming se puso controvertida en la calle digital. La polémica estalló en las redes sociales inmediatamente después de que Paula Chaves, una de las conductoras de la gala junto a Damián Betular, revelara en el aire de Olga que el público podría elegir a los ganadores de "Mejor clip del año" y "Mejor comunidad" a través de un sistema de voto pago.
Según precisó Chaves, los seguidores pueden "entrar en vot.com.ar o enviar MF al 3002", y añadió: "Apoyá a tus favoritas y ganá hasta 4 millones de pesos". El detalle de que la participación del público estuviera ligada a un desembolso monetario, con la promesa de un sorteo millonario, encendió las alarmas de varios protagonistas de la escena digital que salieron a cuestionar la iniciativa
Rosemblat, Occhiato y Pergolini alienados en la crítica
En su programa Industria Nacional de Gelatina, Pedro Rosemblat, preguntó con cierto sarcasmo: "¿Estos son los Martín Fierro de Streaming o es la cena de fin de año de un canal en específico y estamos yendo todos a soplarles las velitas?".
Luego, respecto a las ternas que el público debe pagar por votar, Pedro se quejó: "No pueden estar cobrando por un voto al mejor clip del año".

Acto seguido, el conductor de Gelatina cuestionó el destino del dinero que recaudarán mediante los votos de la gente: "¿La plata esta que están cobrando por los mensajes la reparten, se la quedan ellos o se dona? Vaya uno a saber".
"Nosotros convocamos a nuestra comunidad al 19 de diciembre a Argentinos Juniors, no le den plata a los que ya la tienen, encima heredada", remarcó.
Nicolás Occhiato, el líder de Luzu TV, utilizó su cuenta oficial de X para desmarcarse de la iniciativa.
"Che, de nuestra parte no hay necesidad de que gasten plata en votarnos para ningún premio, el amor de la comunidad nos lo demuestran todos los días acompañándonos y eligiéndonos", sentenció el conductor de Nadie dice Nada, en un claro mensaje a sus fanáticos.

Minutos después, otra voz se sumó al repudio. Mario Pergolini, en su ciclo Deja que entre el sol en Vorterix, fue tajante y elevó el tono de la crítica, cuestionando la organización en su totalidad.
"Me enteré por Luzu. Si no, la verdad es que no me enteraba de que dentro de estos estúp... premios Martín Fierro, que se entregan uno cada 22 minutos y que para mí ya no tiene ningún tipo de valor, tenés que pagar para votar a Mejor Comunidad", disparó el empresario de medios. Pergolini calificó la decisión como una "ridiculez" y una "bajeza", sugiriendo que, de no poder financiar la organización, el evento debería ser "más chiquito".
Además de la controversia por el voto pago, Pergolini puso en duda la pertinencia de realizar esta nueva versión de la entrega de premios. "Insisto, creo que ya está muy suelto y la verdad que podríamos habernos ahorrado el del streaming, porque nos está llevando a todos a una competencia estúpida que no necesitábamos y en la cual tampoco hay tantos grandes jugadores", se quejó, poniendo en tela de juicio la saturación de rubros reconocidos por las estatuillas de APTRA.
