El gobernador de Neuquén, Rolando Figueroa, enviará a la Legislatura provincial un proyecto de ley para restringir la venta de tierras fiscales solo a ciudadanos o personas jurídicas argentinas. El proyecto ingresaría este lunes a la Cámara legislativa, según se conoció este fin de semana.
La iniciativa busca modificar la Ley Provincial 263 de tierras para que la adjudicación de esas tierras fiscales se oriente al desarrollo de proyectos productivos, ganaderos o turísticos. El anuncio llega días antes de que el Senado de la Nación debata las modificaciones a la Ley de Tierras, previsto para el 6 de agosto.
Figueroa también le pidió a la senadora por La Neuquinidad, Julieta Corroza, que proponga un límite cuantificable a la venta de tierras a extranjeros en todo el país. Esta propuesta funcionaría de forma independiente del resguardo que se establecerá en la provincia para garantizar la protección de los recursos naturales de dominio provincial.
En el trabajo de comisión del proyecto nacional se incorporaron cambios que reconocen que cada jurisdicción conserva la potestad de establecer el régimen jurídico aplicable sobre las tierras dentro de su territorio. El proyecto mantiene la prohibición para que Estados extranjeros adquieran tierras rurales y permanecen controles específicos para empresas con participación estatal extranjera.
