Gisella Bonomi, oriunda de Neuquén, se consagró campeona mundial de beach handball con la selección argentina. La jugadora, que actualmente reside en Buenos Aires, compartió sus sensaciones tras el logro histórico en diálogo con el streaming LM Neuquén En Vivo mientras viajaba de regreso del torneo.
"Han sido unas últimas horas muy lindas. Valoro haber disfrutado mucho todo el torneo. Tuvimos un gran momento y nos divertimos muchísimo jugando", expresó Bonomi. La deportista reconoció que el equipo enfrentó dificultades durante la competencia, pero que pudieron ir "mejorando a lo largo del torneo, lo que nos permitió llegar preparadas para una final".
La jugadora fue contundente al evaluar el desarrollo del beach handball en la provincia. "Los hechos hablan por sí solos. Esta vez fuimos cinco los seleccionados" de Neuquén, afirmó. Destacó que "Neuquén es un lugar que siempre nos brinda un lugar para entrenar y apoya muchísimo nuestro deporte", y agradeció especialmente a la Secretaría de Deportes de Neuquén por contribuir para que pudieran asistir al Mundial.
La agenda deportiva de la Selección argentina contempla ahora un merecido descanso tras casi un año de entrenamiento continuo. El próximo compromiso será en noviembre, con un torneo organizado por la Federación Internacional que, aunque no es clasificatorio, representa "un título que aún no hemos ganado", según explicó Bonomi.
